What is The Unleashed Advantage?

The Unleashed Advantage is simply the means to be able to communicate with your dog in a non-invasive, humane way.  Imagine being able to direct your dog to come towards you, move away from you, sit, lie down and be still without having to yell, tug or drag him into place.  Imagine being able to walk your dog without being pulled down the street towards people, other dogs or small animals.

Imagine being the envy of your neighborhood with a well-mannered pet!  Become the owner of the dog you always wanted, the owner your dog deserves!

Learn to communicate with your dog in a natural, instinctive way without the need for the endless pockets of gooey treats, harsh words or leash corrections.  Guide him to a better understanding of his world and yours through effective, humane techniques that are guaranteed to give you results.

Have a problem pet?  Is he aggressive towards strangers, in your home or on-leash during walks? Would you just like to take him out for a leisurely stroll without having to worry about other dogs, children or traffic?

Benefits of the Unleashed Advantage Training Program include:

  • Your dog resides in a home, just like yours, instead of in a kennel for the duration of his stay!
  • Plenty of Free-Play with other dogs!
  • Your dog travels to various locations to ensure proper socialization under a variety of circumstances!
  • Private instruction for as many sessions as it takes to make the transition back to your home a successful one, and
Unlimited, Free follow-up sessions for as long as you own your dog!

Marion and 'Beau':  York County, Pennsylvania

Linda, Beau has had such a breakthrough today! Beautiful, long sit-stays and down-stays!! Timed on the clock to be a couple of minutes. I'm so excited, there's a change in the quality of his attention, I feel like he knows what I want! Thanks!

Dogs trained during the 30 days with Unleashed Advantage learn:

  • To come when called on or off leash, each and every time!
  • To sit or lie down willingly on command
  • To walk quietly on a loose leash regardless of distractions!
  • To go to and stay in a place of your choosing, not your couch, bed or chairs!
  • To greet guests politely without jumping up, scratching or mouthing them!
  • To stop at doorways without running off!
  • To stop barking on command!
  • To respect your possessions and not chew inappropriate items!
  • To stop counter surfing!
  • To ignore the presence of distractions while on walks, including strangers, other dogs and wildlife!
Hi Linda!

We've been in Paris for 3 days now and we are enjoying every minute of it.  Great

food, lots of walking around the city, and I'm really happy to be able to pass as a

French person and not an obvious American!

I just wanted to give you an update on Holly, who as you know is at my mother's in

Salisbury.  Holly has been a joy and very obedient, calm, and a great companion for

my mom.  But the amazing thing is her report on the latest encounter with the cats:

"She's really a great dog.  You and Fred have done a miraculous job with her!  She

might be better with your cats when she gets back home - this morning she wouldn't

come into the bedroom when Abigail (the cat) was in there (Abigail wasn't hiding

under the bed, which was another good thing).  Holly just kept looking away from

her.  I kept calling Holly to come (I was sitting on the bed).  Eventually she came

in, and I got her to jump up on the bed (I know - I won't make it a habit).  She

didn't try to chase Abigail or anything.  She just ignored her.  I keep the doors

open now and Kitty actually will come into the office and jump up on the desk and

stare at Holly.  Funny! "

Very reassuring!  All this time I was thinking the dog would be a problem while we

are gone, but actually Screamer has been terrorizing the cat sitter - she now gives

him treats with anti-aggression granules in them!!  Holly the Rottie is nothing

compared to Screamer the terror!

Anyway, hope all is well - what is your new address so I can send you a very

touristy postcard?

Take care,

Jackie and Fred, Abingdon, MD

Franklin and 'Ted': Adams County, Pennsylvania

I have to hand it to you for doing what could "not be done" with our German Shepherd, Teddy! We were about to give up hope with his obnoxious and aggressive behavior!

We watch the "Dog Whisperer" show on National Geographic with Ceasar Millan all the time and when Ceasar came to Maryland last fall, my wife Anna talked me into going. It gave us hope that Ted's problems were still fixable, even after all of the other training we had tried. I really feared getting kicked out of yet another group training class! It was as close to a miracle as a human can come with a dog I guess, watching you work with him on that very first day.

I still cannot BELIEVE that the dog you met last fall is the same dog! I can't recommend you enough to my friends and family.  Thank you for saving us and our dog Teddy!

'Scrappy' and Dawn: Harford County, Maryland

I'm so sorry Scrappy had to miss his graduation from training class. I was hired by a company in Brooklyn so there was no way I could make the last few sessions, however I did want you to know how much I appreciated and enjoyed the training! Your training methods are top notch, the behavior change in Scrappy far exceeded my expectations going into the training.  I would recommend you to anyone in need of dog training.  I know I need to continue his training but feel that Scrappy is off to an excellent start because of the training techniques I learned in your class.
